Miley Cyrus is back with a new album, a great track with 12 songs, including the demo to her #1 ranked song on Spotify, “Flowers." The last time she released an album was Plastic Hearts in 2020.

She first hinted at this album’s release on her Instagram on December 19, 2022, with the caption, “NEW YEAR, NEW MILEY”.

The single “Flowers” was then released on January 13, which also happens to be her ex-boyfriend’s, Liam Hemsworth, birthday. Fans most definitely noticed this decision.

However, “Flowers” isn’t a ‘revenge’ song meant to hurt Hemsworth. Yes, it is part of celebrity relationship drama, but it does have a deeper meaning. It shows Miley’s path towards learning how to love herself, a great message to fans who could be going through similar situations with heartbreak.

The song states, “I can buy myself flowers / Write my name in the sand / Talk to myself for hours / Say things you don’t understand / I can take myself dancing / And I can hold my own hand / Yeah, I can love me better than you can."

Miley knows that what she had with Hemsworth made her what she is today. She learned to love herself in a way that matters to her.

Other great songs included in the album are “Jaded," “Rose Colored Lenses." “Thousand Miles," and “River.” Other artists that are featured are Brandi Carlile in “Thousand Miles," and Sia in “Muddy Feet."

Another creative touch to this album is when Miley states that this album is divided into two parts: “A.M” and “P.M.”

For the first part, she mentions, “The A.M., to me, is representing the morning time where there is like a buzz and an energy."

For P.M., she states, “In the nighttime, it feels that there is like a slinky, seediness, kind of a grime but a glamor at the same time."

Overall, fans are loving Endless Summer Vacation and see how the Hollywood star has grown from her days playing as Hannah Montana on Disney to producing music that inspires self-love and independence.
