Fans adorned with jewels and feathers gathered in their best period pieces for a Bridgerton-themed evening they will certainly never forget. The event was organized by Uncle and Me LLC and hosted at Harmonie Hall on Sunday, September 22nd.

A night that advertised ballroom dancing, live performances, refreshments, and time-period movie magic was delivered as a disaster far below any expectations.

Tickets started at $100 a piece, and attendees enjoyed sparsely decorated rooms with cheap backdrops. There was not enough food and many claimed the chicken was cold and raw.

The elaborate entertainment promised was a single exotic dancer who later said she was contacted to perform just three hours before the event took place. A single violinist traveled throughout the venue, rather than the full orchestra guests were expecting.

The event took place across three floors and was supposed to include dancing lessons, games, and a “best-dressed” contest with a cash prize.

The lackluster evening has been compared to the February 2024 incident, the Glasgow Willy Wonka Experience. This low-budget event went viral due to unnecessarily scary decorations and off-putting actor set-ups that left excited children crying.

According to one guest who posted on TikTok, there was no organization upon arriving, no staff checking tickets, and a majority of the crowd left before 9 pm.

Uncle and Me LLC has since responded to complaints apologizing for the outcome of the event, and assuring guests that solutions to ticket concerns will be addressed shortly.

While the company claims its intent to create a magical evening, many who attended say they feel scammed. Many spent hundreds of dollars on tickets, outfits, transportation, and hotels for the night.

Despite the disappointment of numerous guests, one attendee has recently announced on TikTok that she is planning on coordinating the glamorous Bridgerton-themed evening fans were expecting. She intends to be incredibly transparent with planning, location, and vendor details and intends to release more information soon.
