UM-Dearborn’s newest secret is being exposed! As the popularity of pickleball continues to skyrocket, the university has decided to join the hype. Two courts were installed in the back parking lot of the fieldhouse!
They are open courts, so no fence is enclosing them, which allows easy access 24/7. The only caveat is that if the wiffle ball is spiked or hit out of bounds, it could potentially go into the trees.
The courts are smooth, but with them being installed at the edge of the parking lot, there is a slight incline.
The incline does interfere with how the ball will bounce once it lands, but it adds an extra challenge as you play.
While the sun is still out, grab a paddle, gather your friends, and hit the courts!
