Shout out to the Homies

Craving a new place to get a sweet treat? Look no further than Homie’s Donuts! The Canada-based doughnut shop has just opened its first U.S. location in the city of Dearborn. Located on Michigan Avenue, just a five minute drive from the University of Michigan-Dearborn’s campus, Homie’s opened its doors on August 21.
The shop offers a vast selection of doughnuts, from Dubai chocolate doughnuts to cannoli doughnuts. Each one has its own unique design and flavor. After purchasing six different kinds of doughnuts, one customer joked: “I feel like I need to try every one! I probably could as long as I have a glass of milk nearby.”
Not only does Homie’s demonstrate its ability to create beautifully designed pastries, but it also transformed the world of doughnuts as we know it! They offer sandwiches and pizzas but not with your typical dough – each one is made with a donut base. Imagine a steak sandwich but instead of biting into bread, it’s a donut. Crazy or genius?
But this shop doesn’t stop at food items. Its menu also offers incredible milkshakes and coffee.
The store offers sit-in dining and a drive-thru set to open very soon, according to one employee. Additionally, Homies has four different arcade machines to pass the time. From Super Mario to X-Men, if you miss classic arcade games then make sure to visit for that nostalgic feeling.
