At the University of Michigan-Dearborn, the spirit of collaboration and innovation takes center stage through the transformative project known as "A Zine About Students as Partners." On the 4th of the month between 4 PM and 6 PM, contributors to this initiative gathered to celebrate the power of student-faculty-staff partnerships and the publication of their regular zines.

More than just a publication, "A Zine About Students as Partners" is a participatory project that transcends the boundaries of the classroom. The event kicked off with a sense of anticipation and excitement as contributors from all corners of the university came together to share their voices. Writers and Artists took to the stage to read excerpts from their pieces, offering glimpses into their unique experiences and insights. From thought-provoking essays to artists' statements, each reading served as a reminder of the power of storytelling to foster connection and understanding.

Amidst the celebration, one couldn't help but feel a sense of pride in the diverse talents and perspectives that converged to make the zine possible. It was a testament to the University of Michigan-Dearborn's commitment to fostering an environment where every voice is valued and every contribution is celebrated. As participants mingled and reflected on the evening's festivities, there was a shared recognition that the zine was not just a publication, but a symbol of the vibrant experiences and ideas that define the campus community. At its core, "A Zine About Students as Partners" promotes the philosophy of "students as partners" within our campus community. It celebrates the impressive collaborations and partnerships on our campus while encouraging the exploration of new and innovative models in teaching, learning, and the production of knowledge.
